Keeping professional growth of students and mental health practitioners in mind, The MHM Clinic currently offers two training courses - Introduction to Trauma Informed Therapy, and CSA Focused Trauma Interventions (Bachpan X MHM).
Introduction To Trauma Informed Therapy
This is a 6 week, self-paced course focused on understanding the nature of trauma and how it works, important tools for assessment and treatment, effective coping mechanisms for trauma survivors, and how to use a trauma-informed approach in all aspects of life.
The resources shared with you will be based on the open-source training material on trauma competency by the Arizona Trauma Institute as well as a curation of free and relevant online resources like videos, books, and podcasts.
The fee for this course is ₹1000 if you are a professional or have completed your master's, and ₹750 if you are still a student. Pay what you can is also available for individuals from marginalised communities.

CSA Focused Trauma Interventions
Bachpan X MHM
This course has been organised by The Mental Health Movement, Chandigarh in collaboration with Bachpan - Save The Innocence. It is a 6 week, self-paced course involving lectures, demonstrations, and case studies for the therapeutic support for survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
Some of the topics covered include trauma and mental health, the biology of trauma, prenatal trauma, assessment tools, family therapy, somatic work, working with children, and so on.
The fee for this course is ₹2500 if you are a professional or have completed your master's, and ₹1000 if you are still a student. Pay what you can is also available for individuals from marginalised communities.
